Are You Thirsty?
Did you know most of us are wandering around in a perpetual state of dehydration?
Not drinking enough water can mess with your weight loss goals – ever catch yourself feeling hungry when you're actually just thirsty?
To figure out how much water you should drink daily take half of your body weight in pounds – that's how many ounces you need. For example, if you weigh 140 pounds, aim for 70 ounces a day. If you're sweating or active, you'll probably need more.
Looking for strategies to hit your daily goal? Here are some effective tricks that have helped my clients:
Set reminders or alarms to drink water throughout the day.
Find a water bottle you really like & carry it EVERYWHERE.
Plain water not your thing? Go for tea or coffee (they won't dehydrate you!) or jazz up your water with lemon, lime, cucumber slices, or a splash of artificial sweetener if that's your jam.
Small changes can lead to big results. Stay committed to staying hydrated & enjoy the benefits of feeling refreshed & energized throughout your day!
If your goal is to get leaner and build sexy curves, I can help with that structured plan. Oh, and you won't have to give up cake either or carbs or any food you don't want to give up. Learn more about my 12 Weeks to Fitness group coaching program here.
