Simple Change That Should Help You Lose Body Fat

Let me cut straight to the chase: Without changing anything else in your life, simply making this 1 change should help you lose body fat

For most of us, trading snacks for 3 balanced meals per day (especially when 2 of those meals are 1/2 veggies) automatically cuts our calorie intake. And the number 1 requirement for fat loss = calorie deficit. ​​​​​​​​

​So how does trading in snacks throughout the day for 3 balanced meals put you into a calorie deficit? Isn't it possible to eat too many calories in those 3 meals? Well, of course, it is - but here's why it's less likely:

Think about what you normally snack on. Chances are it's something quick & convenient that you can eat on the go (or in the 3 minutes you have between OR cases) - something like chips, cheddar popcorn, donuts… you know, the things you find in pretty much any hospital break room!

Those highly-processed, tasty AF ‘junk foods’ are typically small in size, but pack a punch in calories. As a result, it's easy to consume a LOT of calories in those 3 minutes you have between cases…. but since you're still not FULL, you'll need more the next time you have a minute - so you can see how those calories would add up throughout the day, even if you feel like you've barely eaten anything.

Contrast that with eating 3 balanced meals per day ('balanced' means containing protein, fat & carbs), and in theory, you'll be eating a higher volume of food but consuming fewer calories.

By structuring your plates like this - with 1/2 veggies/fruit & 1/4 lean protein, you're probably eating way more fiber & protein compared to your usual snack-based diet.

And study after study shows that fiber & protein help ALL dieters achieve their fat-loss goals, no matter what diet they're following. Why? Because they're hella filling. ​​

Let's keep it as simple as that!
