Working Out Regularly But NOT Seeing Any Changes?
Have you been working out on the regular & NOT seeing any changes to your body?
There's nothing more frustrating than putting in the WORK & not seeing the fruits of your labor.
Of course, there are all sorts of “unseen” benefits to working out - like better cardiovascular health, boosted energy levels, more restful sleep & my personal favorite… sanity - but if you ALSO want to create sexy curves & see a change in your body, you'll need a specific strategy.
Doing random exercises that change every single week won't do it. You're just taking 50 different steps in 50 different directions & ultimately going nowhere.
What you NEED is to pick up some heavy weights a few times per week, do the same exercises for 4-8 weeks at a time & focus on getting stronger in THOSE lifts.
Is it repetitive? Yes.
Is it boring? I mean… it doesn't have to be (we make it fun).
Does it work? Absolutely.
This strategy - called progressive overload - forces your muscles to adapt to increased workload over time, but you don't always have to lift heavier & heavier weights for it to work. You can also progress by:
adding more reps
adding another set
slowing down your reps (increases time under tension)
and improving your form!
This is the most efficient way to build muscle. And the more muscle you have, the stronger your metabolism.
