Ready to Lose Weight But Not Ready to Log Everything? START HERE!

I think we do a terrible job in the fitness industry of making nutrition information ACCESSIBLE for people (meaning easy to understand and actionable).

So if you're interested in losing weight and ready to jump right in, this post is for you!

Instead of telling you to eat 0.8-1g/ lb you weigh of protein each day and cap your calories at a certain number, here are 2 simple changes to try over the next 2 weeks (you'll know by then if you can keep going, or if you need to dig a little deeper).

1.Eat 3 meals per day. Make 2 of your meals 1/2 veggies, 1/4 protein & 1/4 carbs (like the picture). Eat your 3rd meal as usual.

If you normally snack throughout the day, ditching the snacks for 3 balanced meals may require some planning on your part. Just keep it simple, try it for a full week.

2. If you're hungry between meals, add 1-2 snacks per day & make 1 of them high in protein (like a shake, a bar, some beef jerky, string cheese, or Greek yogurt).

Without changing anything else in your life, simply making these 2 changes should help you lose body fat. Here's why it works:

For most of us, trading snacks for 3 balanced meals per day (especially when 2 of those meals are 1/2 veggies) automatically cuts our calorie intake. And the number 1 requirement for fat loss is a calorie deficit.

By structuring your plates with 1/2 veggies & 1/4 protein (and especially if you add a high-protein snack), you're likely increasing the amount of fiber and protein compared to your usual diet. Study after study shows that more fiber & more protein help ALL dieters achieve their fat loss goals, no matter what diet they're following. Why? Because they're hella filling 🙌

Keep it as simple as that!

If your goal is to get leaner and build sexy curves, I can help with that structured plan. Oh, and you won't have to give up cake either or carbs or any food you don't want to give up. Learn more about my 12 Weeks to Fitness group coaching program here
